Crim Festival of Races
The HealthPlus Crim Festival of Races is one of the coolest races in Michigan as well as one of the largest 10 mile races in the country! The city of Flint comes alive as you start and finish on the bricks downtown and follow the famous blue line throughout the University of Michigan â€“ Flint campus, the well-known Bradley Hills, and countless neighborhoods with thousands of people cheering you on along the way.Â Official course entertainment will also help to keep you motivated, as well as the interesting unofficial entertainment found along the way.Â All in all, the Crim is a race like no other!
On Friday evening, August 21, the Michigan Mile will race around the U of M â€“ Flint campus.Â All are welcome to run or walk the event, and participants will receive a coveted â€śblock Mâ€ť medal.Â Before the main event there will be additional races including the Professional Mile where the nationâ€™s top elite athletes will tough it out as part of the Bring Back the Mile Tour, along with a High School Challenge were local track and cross country athletes will see who is the fastest team and individual boy and girl in town!
Saturday morning kicks off with the 10 Mile Wheelers, followed by the 10 Mile Run/Walk.Â Soon after will be the 8K, 5K, and Teddy Bear Trot events.

- Masters Mile National Championship – 7:20 to 7:45 PM (Woman’s and Men’s Races)

- Open Michigan Mile â€“ 8:00 PM

- 10 Mile Run/Walk â€“ 8:00 AM
- 8K Run/Walk â€“ 9:30 AM
- 5K Run/Walk â€“ 10:00 AM
- Teddy Bear Trot â€“ Noon
